Dr. Lesiak is a Nebraska native receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Lesiak pursued his orthopedic training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lesiak brings over 30 years of experience in arthroscopic surgery of the knees and shoulders as well as total joint replacement of the knee, shoulder, and hip. Dr. Lesiak also performs various procedures related to general orthopedics including trauma care and fracture care.
Dr. Lesiak supports the medical communities of Grand Island, Superior, Aurora and Ord with outreach clinics. His dedication to his patients and to the rural communities of Nebraska is evidenced by his willingness to travel many hours to accommodate patients residing outside the Grand Island area. Dr. Lesiak is a proceduralist that strives to maintain a balance of conservative medical management of many orthopedic disorders as well as surgical interventions based on medical necessity and a patient’s ability to realize the optimal outcome.
Dr. Lesiak is accepting new patients and appointments can be made through his office in Grand Island or through the respective hospital specialty clinics located in Superior, Aurora, and Ord, Nebraska.
Dr. Lesiak is an avid sportsman that enjoys hunting and fishing and is also a booster for Nebraska and Creighton athletics.
