Seth Wardyn, M.D.

Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine

Dr. Seth Wardyn is a hometown native of Grand Island, Nebraska, and a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. He is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love through personalized, evidence-based orthopedic care.

Dr. Wardyn earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he was a four-time All-Conference selection and a three-time Academic All-American. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of North Dakota/Sanford Health System, with clinical training in Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls, SD.

He further specialized in sports medicine through a fellowship at the University of Kentucky, where he worked with Division I athletes at the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University, as well as NAIA athletes at Georgetown College. This experience sharpened his expertise in treating sports-related injuries and optimizing performance and recovery for athletes of all levels.

Dr. Wardyn’s clinical interests include shoulder, elbow, and knee conditions, with a particular focus on sports injuries. He is known for his approachable demeanor, clear communication, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wardyn is a devoted husband and proud father of
three. He enjoys Nebraska football, spending time outdoors, and making
memories with his family.
