Scott Lukens, M.D.

Dr. Lukens grew up in the Denver metropolitan area loving to hike, cycle, camp, and enjoy the outdoors. He obtained his undergraduate degree from BYU and his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Lukens completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio.

Dr. Lukens is currently a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing general orthopedics. He treats a wide range of conditions from fracture care and joint replacement surgery, to arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and knee. In addition to general orthopedics, Dr. Lukens has a special interest in caring for conditions of the hand and wrist. He incorporates into his practice some of the latest advances in hand surgery geared towards decreasing exposure to anesthesia, and he brings with him tremendous familiarity and comfort with even the most complex procedures for hand pain, deformity, and dysfunction. Dr. Lukens has clinics in Grand Island, Superior, and Cozad, Nebraska, along with privileges at CHI Health, St Francis, and Mary Lanning as well as the respective Ambulatory Surgical Centers. Dr. Lukens is an avid sports enthusiast, an outdoorsman, and the consummate family man as he and his wife Natalie are raising their three young children.
